They are made of thin and light 3 L GORE-TEX which, when combined with the CRW jacket, offers unparalleled versatility and low weight. The design also reduces weight and volume by not including pockets. By rolling the trousers and jacket into the hood, the user has a flexible compact kit that can be easily stored.
